So here it is....The first shot of our new home! I loooove our red sofas, they are such a happy color like the moments that await us.

Alexa, the moment you were born you gave my life a true meaning. I can no longer imagine my life without you. You have brought to my life joy, laughter, long nights, early mornings, smiles, surprises, spontaneity, and much more. If I had magic powers I’d wish on you the ability to take pleasure in small things- to love people regardless if they like you or not, to me simple, to love yourself the way you are, to not look at life as a competition, but as a blessing. I love you above all things in this world! I am grateful for the day your Daddy crossed my path...

What started out as a far away dream, 1 1/2 years ago has come true. I still cant believe that we are now going to have a place of our own to grow together and make memories. So far everything has worked out for us with the guidance of Heavenly Father!

Alexa is really the light of my life. She is growing so quickly it scares me. She knows exactly how much mommy and daddy love her, she tells us with her smiles and laughter. We love the way she turns our long working days into joy and laughter.

A Message for My Child

I wish that I could show you
all the things that I have seen.

I wish that I could take you
everywhere that I have been.

I wish that I could indicate
the places where I fell,

And keep you, thus, from tripping
on those “rougher” spots as well.

I wish that I could do all this
and save you from the strife.

But I know that I’d be sparing you
the lessons of your life.

And you must learn those lessons
as hard as that may be,

Just know that you will always have
a helping hand from me.
